The PM-1002 is a PC/104-plus form factor combining dual CAN (Controller Area Network) interfaces with an Ethernet port.

The PM-1002 is a PC/104-plus form factor combining dual CAN (Controller Area Network) interfaces with an Ethernet port.

The PM-1002 module implements the dual CANbus with a Philips SJA 1000T CAN controller and Philips 82C251 CAN transceiver.

A Realtek Rtl8 100BL provides the 10/100Mbit/s LAN function.

The PM-1002 module supports Windows 98/NT/2000/XP, Linux and WIN.CE operating systems.

The Controller Area Network is an advanced serial communication protocol, which efficiently supports distributed real-time control and multiplexing with a very high safety level.

It is a fast serial bus with two wires with sophisticated error detection and handling mechanisms resulting in high reliability transmission.

The PM-1002 module also ships with dual DB-9 CAN ports and RJ45 LAN port cable sets.
