The Intel Pentium based Kino 6612LVDS has a tiny 170 x 170mm form factor and is compatible with a host of industry standard connectivity, multimedia and storage options.
The processor is supported by the Via CLE266 north bridge chipset (with integrated graphics 2D/3D engine) and Via 8235 south bridge chipset.
Up to 2Gbyte of system memory can be fitted using two DDR 200/266 SDRAM sockets.

The I/O features of the POS-380 include a pin header for RS232/422/485 (selectable), six USB 2.0 ports (two connectors and four by pin headers), five serial ports (two connectors and three by pin headers), two ATA 66/100/133 IDE channels, a floppy interface, one IrDA interface, a PS/2 keyboard/mouse connector, and one parallel port pin header.
In addition the POS-380 supports an AC97 audio codec, a CompactFlash Type II socket, a watchdog timer, hardware monitoring, and a PCI slot.
Four inputs and four outputs of digital I/O are also provided onboard.
