New from Wordsworth Technology, the JUKI-C400 PCISA SBC (single board computer) is based on the Intel Ultra Low Voltage Celeron 400MHz.
The JUKI-C400 implements the Via VT8606T (PN133T) north bridge and VT82C686B south bridge chipsets.
The VT8606T chipset has an integrated ProSavage VGA controller supporting a resolution of 1920 x 1440, an AGP 4x bus and up to 32Mbyte VRAM shared with system memory.
One SODIMM provides up to 512Mbyte of system memory.
The board has a DB-15 connector for CRT display and a 20-pin connector (for 36bit dual channel LVDS) and a 50-pin header (TTL level) for LCD support.
"The JUKI-C400 single board computer is targeted at industrial applications that require a very low power and cost-effective x86 solution", said Nick Coxhead, Technical Director at Wordsworth Technology.
"This board is an excellent addition to our SBC portfolio with its wide range of connectivity options including multiple USB, RS232, digital I/O interfaces and two LAN ports".
"The ULV Celeron 400 runs at 0.95V and only consumes 4.2W maximum TDP (thermal design power)", he continued.
The JUKI-C400 supports an onboard CompactFlash type II socket and two Ethernet 10/100Mbit/s ports (optional controller from either Intel or Realtek).
The board also supports four RS232 ports by pin header, three USB 2.0 ports and two USB1.1 ports by pin header, two ATA-100 IDE channels, two serial ATA-150 channels, one FDD, one LPT parallel port, one PS/2 port, one IrDA port, and four inputs and four outputs of TTL level digital I/O.
In addition a PC/104 connector is provided for expansion.
A hardware monitor for CPU voltages and CPU/system fan speed and temperature detection is also implemented along with power management meeting ACPI 1.1 specification, a watchdog timer and an AC97 compliant audio codec.
