The ACE-810V and ACE-818C are DC input power supplies with a battery backup function making them ideal for mobile PC applications.

In combination with a battery module, these power supplies can also be used as uninterruptible power supplies.

The 100W ACE-810V power supply has an input voltage range of +9 to +16V and is rated at 10A at +12V DC.

The 140W ACE-818V power supply has an input range of +18 to +32V and is rated at 14A at +24V DC.

Both supplies have built-in cooling fans and provide +/-12 and +/-5V outputs.

The ACE-810V and ACE-818C each have a secondary battery input that enables the power supplies to keep running when the primary 12 or 24V DC is lost.

In this instance the power supplies switch to the battery backup mode.

Two signals (VS1 and VS2) indicate when the primary DC voltage is lost.

A TTL-compatible active low "power on" signal is used to switch on the main output.

When "power on" is disconnected all outputs except +5Vsb are turned off.

The power supplies are over 70% efficient and provide protection from overvoltage, overload and short circuit.

Additionally, incorrect polarity connection of the input terminal should not cause any damage to the power supplies.
