Core Duo performance comes to COM Express
COM Express range is designed for embedded applications that require a standard processor and memory subsystem, but also the modular flexibility to retain key IP on a separate carrier board.
They are the ACE-709CX (90W 24V DC input ATX), ACE-709TX (90W 48V DC input ATX) and the ACE-709VX (80W 12V DC input ATX power supply) The ACE-709CX and ACE-709VX power supplies have an efficiency over 75% and the ACE-709TX over 70%.
The ripple and noise is less than 1% of each output at the rated loads.
The ACE-709 power supplies also provide over voltage, overload, and short circuit protection.
In addition, a TTL level signal compatible "power good" signal is available.
The dimensions of the ACE-709 power supply are 89 x 39 x 152.4mm.
The ACE-709CX has an input voltage range of 18 to 32V DC, an input current of 6A at 24V, and a maximum current of 8A at 18V DC.
At the output (at 50C) the ACE-709 supplies a maximum of 15, 5, 1 and 1A at 5, 12, -12, and 5V, respectively.
