The ICPMB-7760 is a new embedded ATX form factor fully featured long-life socket 478 mainboard from Wordsworth Technology.

The ICPMB-7760 mainboard supports the Intel P4, P4-M, and Prescott processors up to 533MHz front side bus and uses the Intel 852GME and ICH4 chipsets.

Up to 2Gbyte of DDR 266/333 SDRAM DIMM with ECC support can be accommodated in two slots.

The Intel 852GME chipset includes an integrated AGP 4X 2D/3D graphics controller with dual independent displays support and up to 32Mbyte of shared system memory.

The ICPMB-7760 mainboard also implements an AGP slot with an AGP 4X bus.

A CRT VGA port provides support for resolutions of 1600 x 1200 at 8bit/pixel and 1280 x 1024 at 16bit/pixel.

A 48bit LVDS interface is available through a DF14-30F connector.

"The cost-effective high performance all-in-one x86 ICPMB-7760 industrial mainboard is an ideal POS (point-of sale) platform solution providing reliability and flexibility with great support", said Nick Coxhead, Technical Director at Wordsworth Technology.

"These mainboards are tested in an industrial environment and have a minimum five years product life cycle", he continued.

The ICPMB-7760 also supports a WIM socket (for an IPMI system health monitoring module) and an Intel 82541 gigabit Ethernet controller.

In addition three RS232 serial ports, one RS-232/422/485 (selectable) port, six USB2.0 ports, two ATA-100 IDE channels, a FDD connector, an LPT parallel port connector, two PS/2 connectors for keyboard/mouse, an IrDA port (by pin header), and four inputs and four outputs of digital I/O are provided.

There is a PCI slot, and an Em-ATX riser card connector provided for expansion.

A hardware monitor for CPU voltages and CPU/system fan speed and temperature detection is also implemented along with power management meeting ACPI 1.1 specification, a watchdog timer and an AC97 compliant audio codec.
