Based on the Intel 810E chipset, the Rocky3782 full-size PICMG CPU board supports an Intel Socket 370 Celeron through to a 1GHz Pentium III processor.
The Intel 852GME chipset integrates the Intel Extreme Graphics II graphics engine, with an AGP4X bus, and supports dual independent display, adB-15 CRT connector, and LVDS support through a DF14-30F 48bit dual channel LVDS LCD interface.
The Rocky-6160 interfaces to the backplane through PCI and ISA connectors.
"The Rocky-6160 single board computer is targeted at industrial applications that require a long lifetime, high performance, all-in-one x86 solution", said Nick Coxhead, Technical Director at Wordsworth Technology.
"This board is an excellent addition to our range of high performance CPU cards with its wide range of connectivity options including eight USB2.0 ports, two RS232 ports, digital I/O interfaces and LAN port", he continued.
The Rocky-6160 supports an onboard CompactFlash type II socket and one Ethernet 10/100Mbit/s port.
In addition it supports two RS232 ports, eight USB2.0 ports, two ATA-100 IDE channels, two serial ATA-150 channels, an FDD connector, an LPT parallel port, a PS/2 interface for keyboard/mouse, an IrDA port, and four inputs and four outputs of TTL level digital I/O.
A hardware monitor for CPU voltages and CPU/system fan speed and temperature detection is also implemented along with power management meeting APM and ACPI 2.0 specification, a watchdog timer (supporting 1-255s system reset) and an AC97 compliant audio codec.
