RoHS-compliant CPU card promises long design life
The new WSB-9150 full-size PICMG CPU card from IEI Technology Corp supports Intel Pentium 4 and Celeron D series Socket 478 processors up to 3.4GHz and 533/800MHz front side bus.
Available now from Wordsworth Technology is the new WSB-9150 full-size PICMG CPU card from IEI Technology Corporation, supporting Intel Pentium 4 and Celeron D series Socket 478 processors up to 3.4GHz and 533/800MHz front side bus.
The WSB-9150 complies with the Restriction on Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (RoHS) meaning that it is free of a number of hazardous substances, including lead.
The WSB-9150 implements the Intel 915GV and ICH6 chipsets and supports up to 2Gbyte of dual channel DDR333/400 SDRAM in two 184-pin slots.
The Intel 915GV chipset integrates the Intel Graphics Media 900 engine along with a DB-15 VGA output.
A DVI option is also available.
"The RoHS-ready WSB-9150 single board computer is targeted at industrial applications that require a long lifetime, high performance, all-in-one x86 solution", said John Lavery, Sales Director at Wordsworth Technology.
"This board is an excellent addition to our range of high performance CPU cards with its support for an 800MHz FSB CPU and a wide range of connectivity options including eight USB2.0 ports, two RS232 ports, four SATA-150 ports, and a PCI Express GbE Ethernet port", he continued.
The WSB-9150 supports two RS232 ports (by pin header), eight USB2.0 ports (by pin header), an ATA-100 IDE channel, four SATA-150 channels, an FDD connector, a LPT parallel port, a PS/2 interface for keyboard/mouse, and an IrDA port.
In addition a watchdog timer (supporting 1-255s system reset) and an AC97 compliant Intel high definition audio codec are implemented.
