A new series of low-cost/low-power adjustable DC power supplies provides engineers with fast and flexible power sources suitable for a range of applications.
Designed for efficiently testing a variety of DUTs or for replacing multiple power supplies, the software within the XMP 2600's mainframe controller can instantly reconfigure the system to provide eight channels with different voltage and current outputs.
"Xantrex now offers a new 'best in class' multiple-output power system", said Andreas Vondung, Managing Director of Xantrex in Europe.
"With higher power modules and instant reconfigurability plus a long list of powerful features, the XMP 2600 provides performance not available from any other competitive product".
The flexibility of the XMP 2600 allows the system to be customised for high-level test and OEM applications in automotive, military, semiconductor manufacturing, burn-in and ATE.
The following built-in features come standard with the XMP 2600: 3U high 19in mainframe to accommodate up to eight modules; 1/8, 2/8 and 3/8 width modules from 160W to 2.4kW; 0-8 to 0-160V and 1.25 to 80A; power envelope 2.4kW (2.6 kW intermittent); individual module control; GPIB and RS232 interfaces for simultaneous control and monitoring; 99-step auto sequencing; continuous monitoring, warning and shutdown to ensure voltage and current stay within programmed levels; built-in disconnect and automatic polarity reversal relays; and extensive DUT and load protection.
The XMP is available now and can be purchased worldwide through authorised Xantrex representatives.
