The X60003BIG3-50, X60003CIG3-50 and X60003DIG3-50 are Xicor's initial SOT-23 offerings and extend the precision performance of the X60008 series of devices introduced last year.
Additional features include guaranteed absolute initial accuracy as low as +/-1.0mV, temperature coefficient as low as 10ppm/C and long-term stability of 10ppm/kh.
By reducing the reference supply current requirements by nth order of magnitude (from 5uA for the lowest power competing devices) to a mere 500nA, the X60003 family provides designers with precision voltage reference choices that meet the most demanding power budgets in today's high-density systems.
In addition to the obvious benefits of extremely low power consumption and SOT23 packaging, the X60003 rises above many industry standards with the added benefits of increased temperature stability (10 and 20ppm/C) and guaranteed initial accuracy (+/-1.0, +/-2.5 and 5.0mV).
Prior to the introduction of Xicor's X60003 family, the designer's ability to achieve power budget reductions meant compromising performance.
The X60003 references facilitate a significant step forward without compromising performance.
The X60003BIG3-50, X60003CIG3-50 and X60003DIG3-50 in 3-lead SOT-23s are available now.
Xicor will continue to expand the X60003 family with additional performance grades and reference voltages such as 4.096, 2.5 and 1.25V.
