The RP series of single- and multiple-output configurable 300 to 750W power supply modules from XP, feature a compact footprint as well as extremely low output ripple and noise, making them suitable for broadcast and medical instrumentation applications The supplies require a low derating of only 30% above 60C to a maximum of 75C, compared with the typical industry 50% derating above 50C to a maximum of 70C

Output voltage trim of +/-10% is standard.

CE marked for the Low Voltage Directive, the RP series power supply modules accept a universal PFC input of 90 to 264V AC and provide 75% minimum efficiency and a power factor of over 0.99 to EN61000-3-2 standards.

Remote sense is standard and current share is available on all single output modules.

Ripple and noise comes in at typically 0.25% or 10mV peak-peak, whichever is greater, over a 20MHz bandwidth for any load.

RP series modules provide overcurrent protection of 105 to 120% of full load auto recovery and overvoltage protection of 115 to 125% of nominal (latching).

Other features encompass 45A maximum inrush current, 80V AC undervoltage lockout, over 20ms hold-up time, DC power good signal, power fail warning, global output inhibit and an operating temperature of 0 to 75C.

Meeting all relevant international standards, the RP series power modules conform to EN55022 class A for conducted EMI, and meet safety requirements to EN60950, UL, cUL and TUV.

VME/VMI signals are optional.
