Dual-output DC/DC convertors suit military use
The MTC15 and MTC30 DC/DC convertors' feedback loop constantly monitors both outputs in order to provide a high degree of load regulation.
The DCC Series comprises devices with outputs of 1.8, 2.5, 3.3 or 5V DC, with corresponding maximum output currents of 6, 6, 4.5 and 3A.
Additionally, each output voltage can be trimmed to 90-110% of its nominal ratings.
Input voltage can range from 33 to 75V DC, and typical efficiencies are up to 87%.
The convertors enjoy all the benefits of open-frame construction, including improved thermal management, contributing to a wide operating temperature range from -40 to +70degC.
Both short-circuit and overvoltage protection are provided, and the convertors can be remotely controlled using a logic-level on/off signal.
Ripple and noise are low, at 100mV peak-peak (35mV RMS).
DCC Series convertors are ETSI compliant, meeting ETS300 132-2 input voltage and current requirements.
