Mil-Spec DC/DC convertors live long and prosper
Instead of using optocouplers, XP's full Mil-Spec DC/DC convertors use a patented magnetic feedback solution to deliver long-term reliability.
Modules can be specified for an input voltage range of 36 to 75 or 18 to 36V DC.
Built-in protection features include overvoltage to 130% Vout, latching and overtemperature at 110-117C PCB temperature, latching, as well as current limiting and short circuit protection.
Standard features include remote sense, two-stage input filter, optional low-profile heatsink or baseplate and output voltage trim.
Regulation is 98-102% of nominal voltage over line, load and temperature.
Ripple and noise for the DCG100 and DCG175 models is 20 and 15mV RMS, respectively, 150 and 50mV peak-to-peak, respectively, over a 20MHz bandwidth.
Further specifications encompass an operating temperature of -40 to +100C, settling time of 300us, turn-on time of 35ms, and maximum input current of 6.5A.
Further, DCG series modules meet all relevant international standards, including UL94V-2 material flammability, and safety requirements UL1950, CSA22.2 No 950-95 and EN6095.
