Compact dual-output switchers deliver up to 225W
Featuring a compact PCB construction, the CPL Series of dual-output switching power supplies is available now from XP.
Featuring a compact PCB construction, the CPL Series of dual-output switching power supplies is available now from XP.
The range comprises six different models, offering a choice of +5 with either +12 or +24V secondary outputs and overall power ratings of 100, 150 or 225W.
The small size of these switchers makes them ideal as the primary supply for a wide range of mains-powered equipment.
Sizes range from 222 x 75 x 32mm for 100W units to 222 x 95 x 42mm for 225W models.
All feature universal 85-264V AC (120-370V DC) inputs allowing their use in equipment for worldwide markets.
Further flexibility is provided by +/-10% adjustment on the primary output.
Line and load regulation are 0.4 and 0.8% of maximum, respectively, and maximum output ripple and noise is 150mV peak-peak.
Operating temperature range is a wide -10 to +70C (derating required above 50C).
The CPL Series features a typical 0.99 power factor, complies with international EMC requirements (including EN55022-B), carries safety approvals from UL, C-UL and VDE, and is CE marked in accordance with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.
Overvoltage and overcurrent protection are provided as standard.
Options include remote control, a low leakage current variant (0.1mA maximum), a cover and screw terminals.
There is also provision on the PCB to mount an additional DC/DC convertor to provide up to two additional outputs.
