Switchers offer flexible specs up to
450W
The LP series of 150 to 450W AC/DC switching power supplies offers exceptional flexibility with up to five isolated outputs at any voltage from 1.8 to 53V DC.
The LP series of 150 to 450W AC/DC switching power supplies from XP offers exceptional flexibility with up to five isolated outputs at any voltage from 1.8 to 53V DC This comprehensive range of options means that the units can often be used where custom designs would normally be needed, thereby eliminating the delays, costs and risks associated with custom power supply development

DC/DC convertors save PCB space
XP Power has released new additions to its I series of low power isolated DC/DC convertors.
The fully approved switchers include models qualified to EN60601-1 for use in medical applications (LP-MD series).
Configured by XP to meet customer specific requirements, LP series power units are available for next day delivery.
As the industry's first range of 1U compatible, configurable AC/DC power supplies, they are suitable for a variety of space-sensitive instrumentation, broadcast and medical applications.
A choice of cooling options is available, including versions with integral fans.
Input voltage is from 90 to 264V AC (47 to 63Hz) and standard output voltages are 1.8, 2.5, 3.3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 15, 24, 28, 36 or 48V DC, all adjustable by at least +/-10%.
Typical efficiency is 75% at nominal output and other features include remote sensing, to compensate for up to 0.5V drop, and single-wire parallel current sharing.
Line regulation is +/-0.3% maximum and load regulation is +/-1% maximum for single output units or +/-2% maximum for dual and triple output versions.
Overvoltage protection, overload protection, and power factor correction are all built-in, minimising the need for external components.
AC and DC OK signals are also provided.
LP series power supplies meet all major applicable EMC and safety specifications and are CE-marked.
They are designed to operate in an ambient temperature between 0 and +70C.
