Sub-1U switcher provides four powerful outputs

A XP Power product story

The RLM is a compact 70-185W AC/DC power supply with up to four standard and customisable output voltages.

The RLM is a compact 70-185W AC/DC power supply with up to four standard and customisable output voltages.

It is particularly suited to applications that require multiple voltage rails such as instrumentation, broadcast, medical and analytical equipment.

The ability to source both standard and nonstandard DC voltages from a single unit reduces overall equipment size and simplifies system design.

It also eliminates up-front engineering charges that would be incurred in the design of fully customised power supplies and reduces time to market.

Unusual for units of this type, the RLM can deliver at least 2A on all outputs, making it suitable for driving both logic and linear loads.

Less than 1U high, the RLM is ideal for use in broadcast equipment racks and also has worldwide approvals for use in medical applications, greatly simplifying statutory approval of medical equipment.

The power supply offers a power-fail signal and comprehensive overload protection as standard.

Options include isolated outputs, remote on/off, screw terminals and metal covers.

Remote sensing is available on both single- and multiple-output models.

The RLM product range features a universal 85-264V AC input, standard output voltages of 3.3 to 48V DC and typically efficiency of 82% at full load.

With an operating temperature range of 0 to +70C, the RLM is approved to all major international safety and EMI/RFI specifications.

Standard models are available from stock, and customer-specific output configurations can be supplied in less than two weeks.
