XP has been awarded a GBP 1.2 million contract to supply DC/DC convertors for the Battle Group thermal imager system (BTGI).
XP has been awarded a GBP 1.2 million contract to supply DC/DC convertors for the Battle Group thermal imager system (BTGI) The BTGI will be installed on Warrior and Scimitar armoured vehicles used by UK armed forces
Martin Brabham, XP's Industry Manager for Avionics and Defence, commented: "This prestigious contract is the result of several years' work with Thales engineers to produce the optimum technical solution for a very demanding military vehicle environment".
XP is experiencing rapid growth in its military business with 2003 bookings 60% ahead of last year.
