Measuring only 150 x 70 x 35mm, the convection-cooled and sealed AED100 external AC/DC power supply is the world's smallest 100W unit This product is important in a market where designers need ever-increasing power for their systems but at the same time are under pressure to keep the size of external power supplies to a minimum

Launched by power supply specialist XP for use in any commercial or industrial application, the AED100 conforms to EN61000-3-2 and meets EN55022, CISPR22 and FCC Level B conducted and radiated EMC specifications.

The unit has a universal AC input via an IEC320/C14 connector and has all major international safety approvals.

This class-leading power supply is offered with a choice of seven standard output connectors, customer specified connectors are also available for quantities as low as 10 units.

The AED100 offers single output voltages of 12, 15, 18, 19, 24 or 48V DC and corresponding maximum output current ratings range from 8.25 to 2.1A.

The power supply has a minimum hold-up time of 20ms at 115V AC, 1% peak-to-peak maximum ripple and noise, and both overvoltage and overcurrent protection.

The power supply is up to 90% efficient, minimising heat generation, allowing compact size and contributing to its high reliability.

It has 3kV AC input-to-output isolation.

Ambient operating temperature is 0 to +55C.

The AED100 complements 36, 45 and 70W external power supplies in the same family.
