RTC AC/DC and DC/DC switching power supplies offer power ratings of 150, 200 and 400W, and are designed to meet the requirements of hot-swappable N+1 redundant Compact PCI power systems.

Designed to meet the requirements of Compact PCI, using hot-swappable N+1 redundancy power systems, the new RTC AC/DC and DC/DC switching power supplies from XP offer power ratings of 150, 200 and 400W Full power is delivered with only 850 litre/min forced-air cooling at 50C ambient with 150 and 200W units in a 3U format and the 400W version in 6U

The power supplies conform to PICMG 2.11 standards and DC input versions accept a 48V DC input, meeting the requirements of most telecommunications systems.

The outputs are 3.3, 5 and +/-12V DC with typical line and load regulation of +/-2% and maximum peak-to-peak ripple and noise of 1%.

RTC power supplies have integral input transient protection, inrush current limiting, output overvoltage and overcurrent protection.

They also feature AC good, DC good, remote sense, single wire parallel and remote on/off control functions.

All models are approved to UL1950, CSA950/234 and EN60950.

They also meet EN55022 Level A emission standards.

Shock and vibration is to MIL-STD-810D.

In addition to telecomms applications, the RTC series is suitable for redundant industrial computing and control systems, digital voice recording systems and broadcast equipment.
