It's cool to supply 120W without a fan
The latest switch-mode power supply from XP, the SDS120, is a compact 120W unit that delivers full power at up to 50C ambient without the need for forced air cooling.
The latest switch-mode power supply from XP, the SDS120, is a compact 120W unit that delivers full power at up to 50C ambient without the need for forced air cooling.
Most other power supplies of this footprint and rating require fan cooling which increases system size and cost.
The SDS120 measures 127 x 81 x 39mm making it suitable for 1U installation, even when fitted with its optional cover.
The power supply has a universal input between 90 and 264V AC and output voltages from 3.3 to 48V DC.
The range comprises eleven single-output, seven dual-output and 18 triple-output models, all of which meet international safety agency standards and feature active power factor correction to comply with EN61000-3-2 and -3.
Single-output versions have no minimum load requirement and all models include optional power fail detection signals, and both overcurrent and overvoltage protection.
The SDS120 has integral EMI filtering to meet EN55022 CISPR22 Class B and FCC Level B requirements with respect to conducted EMC.
Standard units are available from stock with customised versions available for quantities of 100 or more.
