The 2004 power supply guide from XP contains full technical details for 197 families of power supply and 5000 individual products - Europe's widest range from a single source.

Over 1000 of the products are new in this edition.

The 352-page catalogue covers AC/DC power supplies, external power supplies, DC/DC convertors, DIN rail supplies, UPS, component-based power modules for distributed power architectures, and a complementary range of EMC filters and thermal management devices.

An extensive range of units for medical and military markets is also available.

In addition to the parts index, the catalogue contains an easy-to-use selector guide that enables engineers to quickly locate the available choice of products for particular applications.

The next generation of XP products described in the catalogue includes the ECM40/60, 40 and 60W supplies in a compact 51 x 102mm package with industrial, IT and medical safety approvals for both Class 1 and Class 2 applications.

Another addition is the industry's smallest 700W chassis, an extension to the MP Series, 400-2000W configurable family.

For medium power applications, the compact 300-400W SMQ units with outputs from 12 to 54V DC are a new addition.

Finally, JTA DC/DC convertors will be introduced in the second quarter of 2004.

These have 4:1 input voltages covering 9-36 and 18-75 VDC and there is a choice of 40 models with 10-20W output.

The converters are suitable for a diverse range of industrial applications.

The catalogue finally describes XP's next day delivery configuration centre, engineering services, and its EMC precompliance service, which is free to customers.
