The RoHS compliant, compact units start at 22.6mm wide and are lower in cost than existing products.
The most suitable applications for these rugged DIN-rail power supplies are factory automation, light industrial, process control and instrumentation.
With single-phase AC input, ratings of 5, 10, 18, 30, 60, 120 and 240W are available.
There is a choice of 70 models with output voltages from 5 to 48V DC, offering a solution for virtually any industrial application.
A wide output adjustment range is standard on all models.
For example the 24V units are adjustable from 21.6 to 30V, depending on the model.
An operating temperature range of -10 to +70C with full power up to +60C ensures no derating at high temperatures.
The power supply is also capable of 70% power at +70C.
Most competitors' models derate at +40 or +50C.
From the 30W models upwards, the efficiency is between 84 and 90% for 12V or higher voltage models.
A parallel function on the 120 and 240W models is provided for higher power requirements - up to three modules can be paralleled.
For monitoring, the 24V models at all power levels above 18W come equipped with a DC-OK relay, and all units feature a DC-on indicator.
The DNR power supplies are very compact; the 5, 10 and 18W models measure just 115 x 88.5 x 22.6mm.
Options available include spring clip or screw connections to simplify wiring, detachable connectors to reduce MTTR (mean time to repair), and a PFC (power factor correction) option on the 120W model.
The 240W models come with PFC as standard and all units have built in overvoltage and overload protection.
The DNR supplies are approved to EN60950 for ITE and UL508 for industrial applications.
The majority of models up to 60W are also approved to UL1310, making them compliant to NEC Class 2 rating.
Additionally, the units meet EN61000-3-2, -3 and Level B performance for conducted emissions.
