Reel aMounts replaces traditional, electromechanical counting systems, to offer greatly improved efficiency in materials handling.

Jabil, one of the world's largest EMS providers, is implementing Seratel's Reel aMounts component counting and labelling system under an agreement covering all its plants worldwide The first phase of installations has now been completed.

This implemented multiple Reel aMounts systems in selected Jabil plants in the USA, Mexico, Brazil and Europe.

The agreement provides for continuing installations in all of Jabil's geographic areas.

Reel aMounts replaces traditional, electromechanical counting systems, to offer greatly improved efficiency in materials handling.

The system links a computer, electronic weighing scales, barcode scanner, barcode printer and a database of component types to provide a solution that is up to 15x faster than conventional counters for tape and reel components.

Being computer based, all count information can also be forwarded to the company's ERP system, viewed in a web browser or exported to Excel for further analysis.
