X-Tek Group has appointed Peter Smith as Operations Director.
X-Tek Group has appointed Peter Smith as Operations Director.
Formerly the Business Systems Development Manager for Dage Holdings, Smith also held a prior role at Dage as Manufacturing Manager for Dage Precision Industries.
Previous responsibilities included running the Bond Tester Division and the initial setup and running of the X-ray division.
Smith brings extensive industry experience to his new role at X-Tek and will be responsible for all aspects of manufacturing, logistics, service and systems development.
As X-Tek's Operations Director, Smith will seek to develop X-Tek's sophisticated range of X-ray imaging and analysis systems incorporating Nanotech submicron technology.
Successful new machinery such as the Revolution system and the user-friendly software InspectX have enabled X-Tek to continue the strategy of global expansion and Smith's expansive knowledge will greatly contribute to the continuing success and development of X-Tek's range of new generation X-ray inspection systems.
