Coupler module offers easy extension
New from Yamaichi Electronics, the Y-ConCoupler-1 allows the easy and fast extension of existing cable runs.
The compact format offers the smallest available USB-A product with locking system, and allows integration into 19in rack systems or applications having a small space overhead.
The additional locking mechanism ensures high vibration stability and excellent retention characteristics, making it suitable for a large number of industrial applications where vibration stability is a main issue, for example industrial PCs, rail and traffic systems, mechanical engineering, video link systems etc.
The holding frame has multivendor capability for all compatible jacks and is screwed to the outer body of the application.
It is available as single, double, quadruple and on request also as an eightfold version.
The new connector system will be presented this autumn at the Productronica exhibition in Munich and SPS/IPC/Drives in Nuremberg.
