A connector for microSD memory cards is designed with a small form factor and a mounting profile of a mere 1.85mm.
Yamaichi Electronics introduces its card connector model PJS008-2000 for microSD memory cards designed with a small form factor and a mounting profile of a mere 1.85mm (reverse mount type).
Using a tactile push-lock/push-eject mechanism the card travels only 3.00 to 4.35mm from its locked position to its ejected position.
A special card-brake provision prevents the card from flying out.
Moreover, strengthened contact on the power supply and the earth pad of the card effectively prevents electrical interruption.
The PJS008 series is RoHS compliant and shipped in embossed carrier tapes for automated assembly.
