Yamaichi Electronics introduce a new product to the Y-Con industrial connector series: a 90deg moulded version of the IP20Lock with RJ45 plug, designed for high vibration environments.

Yamaichi Electronics has added a 90 degree moulded version of the IP20Lock with RJ45 plug to the Y-Con industrial connector series It is designed for high-vibration environments

The Y-ConIP20Lock-31xx products are cable assemblies moulded together with an IP20 locking mechanism.

Ergonomic locking clips allow it be handled easily and without the need for tools.

The clips lock into a holding frame screwed to the application housing, preventing mechanical stress on the interface itself and protecting it from damage.

The 90 degree moulded design offers the shortest possible overhang of 30mm, saving space in confined areas while providing secure strain relief.

Assemblies are made to order in the length required.

A new slider mechanism offers additional mechanical security and even higher retention forces by stopping the IP20Lock from opening inadvertently.

The Y-ConIP20Lock-10 and -31xx products allow integration into 19in rack systems, and also suit industrial applications where vibration stability is important, for example in rail and traffic systems, mechanical engineering video link systems and control cabinets.

The holding frame is available as a single, double, quad and, on request, eightfold version.
