The "one push-lock" Non-ZIF system simplifies production handling and ensures a secure and permanent connection.

Yamaichi Electronics has released the Non-ZIF connector system with a pullforce locking mechanism as an alternative to ZIF connectors The pullforce connectors are interlocked over a hook mechanism

Interlocking occurs during the plugging process.

This "one push-lock" system simplifies production handling and ensures a secure and permanent connection.

The locking mechanism consists of a row of engagement hooks, providing a secure connection between the FFC/FPC and the board connector.

Locking is performed the standard supporting tape of the FFC/FPC or via an additional plastic stiffener that is glued to the FFC/FPC.

The shape of this additional stiffener does not allow any plugging errors and offers increased vibration security.

The board connectors have a pitch of 0.5 or 1mm and are available in horizontal and vertical versions.

The series ios available with 30 contacts for a pitch of 0.5mm (90 degrees) and 12 to 30 contacts for a pitch of 1.0mm (90 and 180 degrees).

Other pin counts are in development.

Board connectors are available as tape and reel packaging units.
