Fieldbus connectivity allows the recorders to receive measured values from connected Fieldbus field devices, display the data in a wide variety of formats, and store this information to a network or other storage media.
The DAQStation recorders can also accept a wide range of analogue values from external sensors or measuring instruments, and can interface to the Fieldbus network, allowing non-Fieldbus devices to be available on the Fieldbus link.
The recorder also has an Ethernet port as a standard feature, allowing connection to other systems via OPC.
The unit can act as an LAS (Link Active Scheduler), allowing Fieldbus networks to be created without the use of a distributed control system.
In addition, the DAQStation can take over as the LAS in the event of a failure to another system.
The DAQStation DX200 has a 10.4in colour liquid-crystal display, fits a 288 x 288mm panel cutout, and offers up to 30 channels.
The compact DX100 has a 5.5in LCD, fits a 144 x 144mm cutout, and offers up to 12 channels.
Both units offer a powerful range of display capabilities including trend curves, digital value tables and bargraphs.
