The York EMC Services laboratories in Castleford (West Yorkshire) and Donibristle (Fife) are now UKAS accredited to EN60601-1-2:2001, the revised EMC standard for electromedical equipment.

EN60601-1-2:2001 replaces the first edition on 1st November 2004, and so both laboratories are now taking bookings from manufacturers of electromedical equipment keen to have products re- assessed to the new standard.

The company has also produced a free guide to understanding the changes to the EN60601-1-2:2001, which can be downloaded from its website.
