Award recognises medical EMC paper
Dr Didier Bozec has scooped the prestigious John Bolton Memorial Award for his paper "Risks must be minimised".
Dr Didier Bozec of York EMC Services has scooped the prestigious John Bolton Memorial Award (best technical paper by a member under 35 years old) for his paper "Risks must be minimised".
Published in Health Estate Journal, the official journal of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management, Dr Bozec's paper highlighted the pressing need for healthcare facilities and device manufacturers to address the issue of electromagnetic interference which could ultimately affect both patient and staff safety.
Dr Bozec is currently the Manager of York EMC Services' laboratory in Fife, Scotland which offers electromagnetic compatibility testing, consultancy, training and instrumentation.
Prior to taking up this post he was a Senior EMC Consultant based in York EMC Services' head office at the University of York.
