Small, high-performance receiving devices for infra-red remote control systems, NJL65V/68H000 series parts feature a metal case with mesh window, which dramatically improve EMI characteristics.

Even under harsh EMI conditions, such as when in proximity to air conditioners, TVs and VCRs, the devices operate normally.

Operating over -30 to +85C, the devices require a supply voltage of between 4.5 and 5.5V with a maximum supply current of 3mA.

An elliptic lens improves the receiver's characteristics against light noise from the upper and lower sides.

Typical transmission distance is 15m.

Typical applications are found in Hi-Fi, TVs, VCRs and CD players as well as in home appliances such as in air conditioners, fans and any equipment that needs wireless remote control.

A variety of carrier frequencies are available, which are 36, 36.7, 38, 40 and 58.8kHz.

All are offered in side and top view configurations.

Custom frequencies and /or packages are also available.
