Low impedance capacitors take the heat
Specialist distributor, Young Electronics, has launched a new series of surface mount capacitors that boast low impedance and high heat capability.
It routes these inputs into three CVBS outputs and one RGB output.
The NJM2277 video switch operates on +/-5V and includes fifth-order lowpass filters to suppress noise interference in each of the video signal paths.
The filters' good phase linearity ensures an excellent group delay characteristic.
The NJM2277 supports NTSC and PAL video applications with no additional external peaking capacitor.
It also offers a high-impedance output for the RGB signal and features the typically good immunity to ESD of New Japan Radio's bipolar technology.
A high impedance output pin is useful in removing the video text breakthrough associated with mixing the signal from the VCR or STB with Teletext.
The video inputs have at least 50kohm input impedance to allow DC coupled inputs.
RGB outputs are closely matched with the gain levels well within +/-5%.
All 6dB output amplifiers and 75ohm drivers are integrated on-chip.
Further, a control pin selects whether the VCR signal or the STB signal is connected to the TV.
