The Nippon Chemi-Con UTOR Series, available from Young ECC, maximises ripple current and reduces the number of capacitors required per bank in inverters.

The Nippon Chemi-Con UTOR Series, available from Young ECC, maximises ripple current and reduces the number of capacitors required per bank in inverters The capacitors have ultra high ripple currents, high vibration resistance and high transient voltage protection to meet the extreme conditions of demanding and harsh environments

Operating temperature is -40 to +105C with a long load life of 5kh at 105C, with rated ripple current applied.

Capacitance ranges from 1500 to 6800uF, +/-20%.

Leakage current is 0.02CV or 5mA - whichever is smaller after 5min at 20C.

The 350 to 450V DC low thermal resistance capacitors are supplied in 76 x 79 to 76 x 168mm cases.

The unique patented toroidal design offers performance enhancing features, such as forced air, heatsink and fluid convection cooling options.
