Low impedance capacitors take the heat
Specialist distributor, Young Electronics, has launched a new series of surface mount capacitors that boast low impedance and high heat capability.
The Panjit TTVS series consists of 66 devices, 11 each in axial leaded and surface mount versions across three current ranges.
There is a choice of A, B and C series all complying with industry standard nonrepetitive peak pulse current ratings, 50A for 10/1000us; 80A for 10/1000us and 100A for 10/1000us, respectively.
The Panjit TTVSs range from 58 to 320V DRM, feature low capacitance, and are UL listed, making the devices particularly suited for preventing overvoltage damage and offering protection for a range of telecomms and datacomms equipment.
