Young ECC has been appointed as the exclusive representative for Hue Jie in the UK and Ireland.

Young ECC has been appointed as the exclusive representative for Hue Jie in the UK and Ireland Based in Taiwan, Hue Jie is a leading manufacturer of tactile switches for a wide variety of applications encompassing industrial, communications, automotive, computer and consumer electronics

Other products in the portfolio include micro, detector, rocker and power switches.

Key to the manufacture of Hue Jie switches is the zero-defect manufacturing policy, which in practice results in failure rates of well under 200ppm.

However, in the near future failure rates will fall to under 50ppm.

To achieve this, tactile switches are assembled using a fully automated process under cleanroom conditions.

As a result users can virtually eliminate the need for expensive rework of assembled products due to defective tactile switches.

It is this strength that has enabled Hue Jie to obtain approvals from key manufacturers such as Hitachi, Panasonic, Acer, Sony and Thomson.

The company's range of power, rocker and microswitches carry safety approvals by UL, VDE, TUV, CSA, NDS, FI, CB and CCEE.

New from Hue Jie are three ranges of tactile switches, all available on tape for auto-insertion.

These encompass the TST (square) and TSR (round) horizontal mounting type switches as well as the TSR vertical mounting tactile switch.

Each range offers three actuation forces and several shaft options.
