Six multilayer ceramic capacitor options from Taiyo Yuden offer low ESR and higher insulation resistance and breakdown voltages to provide reliable operation in a wide variety of applications.

Available from Young ECC, six multilayer ceramic capacitor options manufactured by Taiyo Yuden offer low ESR and higher insulation resistance and breakdown voltages to provide reliable operation in a wide variety of applications The MK107, MK212, MK316, MK325, MK432 and MK550 are suitable for wave and reflow soldering and offer reliability and low ESR for excellent noise absorption characteristics

The ceramic capacitors offer high ripple current and high insulation resistance and breakdown voltage to increase operating reliability.

Capacitance values from 0.022 to 100uF are available throughout the range, with +/-10% tolerance.

Rated voltage across the four capacitor types ranges from 50V down to 6.3V, depending on the model.

Small packaging options are suitable for surface mount devices.

The MK107 is in a 0603 case (1.6 x 0.8mm); the MK212 (in a 0805 case) measures 2.0 x 1.25mm; the MK316 (1206) measures 3.2 x 1.6mm; the MK325 (1210) measures 3.2 x 2.5mm; the MK432 (1812) measures 4.5 x 3.5mm and the MK550 (2220) measures 5.7 x 5.0mm.

Operating temperatures range from -25 to + 85, -30 to +85, -55 to +85 and -55 to +125C, depending on the model.

Suitable applications for the range of multilayer capacitors include power supply bypass capacitors in liquid crystal modules, and liquid crystal drive voltage lines, smoothing capacitors for DC/DC convertors and switch mode power supplies as well as use in general circuitry.
