Low impedance capacitors take the heat
Specialist distributor, Young Electronics, has launched a new series of surface mount capacitors that boast low impedance and high heat capability.
This makes the devices ideal for a wide range of long-life automotive and power supply applications.
The MVZ series' rated voltage range is from 6.3 to 25V DC with endurance of 1 and 2kh, respectively, for the high-capacitance H10 and J10 capacitors.
Capacitance is from 1 to 1500uF, with a capacitance change of less than +/-30% for 6.3V rated capacitors and less than +/-25% for the 10 to 25V rated capacitors.
Impedance spans from 1.8 to 0.09ohm.
Ripple performance is a highly competitive 80 to 670mA RMS at 105C and 100kHz.
The capacitors' dimensions are from 4 to 10mm in diameter, 5.7 to 10mm in length and 4.3 to 10.3mm in width.
Temperature range is from -55 to +105C.
