LED driver takes control of colour
The NJU6060 is a novel CMOS-based RGB LED controller/driver from New Japan Radio Co with a built-in PWM dimmer that can control each colour separately.
The NJU6060 is a novel CMOS-based RGB LED controller/driver from New Japan Radio Co with a built-in PWM dimmer that can control each colour separately Boasting a built-in MCU interface and oscillator in a compact and power efficient package it provides the optimum solution for full colour LED control in mobile phones, car audio and similar systems
The NJU6060's PWM luminance control delivers 32 levels of brightness to each LED giving 32,768 colours.
Operating voltage is from 2.4 to 5.5V and maximum power dissipation is 250mW.
The oscillator circuit clock generates PWM via an external resistor.
Connection with the MCU is through a built-in 8bit serial interface circuit.
The device is housed in a compact SSOP-10.
Operating temperature is from -40 to +85C.
