Arcotronics, with headquarters in Sasso Marconi, Italy, is one of the world leaders in the manufacture of capacitors using both plastic film and metallised plastic film as the dielectrics.
The production and development of Arcotronics' capacitors are geared to customers requiring high reliability and large production volumes.
Its extensive product portfolio covers a diverse range of applications and includes: telecomms, lighting, data processing, automotive, consumer, industrial, power electronics and motor drives.
The MKP R.46 range of suppression capacitors is constructed with a polypropylene dielectric and metallised film electrodes.
Capacitance spans from 0.01 to 4.7mF with voltage rated at 275V AC.
Rapid response is ensured with a pulse rise time of 100 to 500V/ms.
The devices' high-quality manufacturing results in excellent tolerance limits of just 10 to 20%.
In pitch between terminals the devices vary from 10 to 37.5mm.
Safety and operational approvals include EN132400 (IEC60384-14), UL1414, CSA C22.2 No1 and a host of others.
The devices' operating temperature range is from -40 to +110C with delivery in loose or taped form.
