Specialist distributor, Young Electronics, has launched a new series of surface mount capacitors that boast low impedance and high heat capability.
A general-purpose supply, the SNP-Z05's UL2601 and EN60601-1 approvals make it ideal for medical designs.
It is equally suited to a wide range of other applications including IT, process and packaging machines, film and broadcast equipment and kiosk information systems.
Manufactured by Skynet, the new SNP-Z05 is available in a wide range of standard configurations offering 3.3, 5, 15, 24 and 48V outputs.
Efficiency is between 78 and 87% depending on the model.
Input voltage is 90 to 264V AC and operating temperature range is 0 to 50C under free air convection cooling.
The SNP-Z05 carries a host of international environmental and safety approvals including: EN55022B, FCC B, EN61000-3-2, EN61000-4-2, -3, -4, -5, -6, -8, -11, and UL60950, EN60950, CSA 22.2 No 234.
The impressive performance of the new supply is further strengthened by its high degree of flexibility, cost effectiveness and very short delivery time.
