Available now from Young Electronics, Fujitsu's FTR-K3 power relay series is designed for heavy duty power applications, operating at up to 20A Aimed at compressor and inverter loads, the series is ideal for high power domestic applications such as refrigerators and air conditioners

Despite its heavy duty applications, Fujitsu describes the FTR-K3 series as being "high sensitivity in a small package".

Nominal power is 780mW.

High insulation and a reinforced insulation system between the coil and contacts gives it a dielectric strength of 5kV AC and a surge strength of 8.5kV.

Nominal voltage varies with the coil number, with options from 5 to 48V DC.

The series comes in a 1 form A SPST-NO contact with silver alloy material and its contacts are silver alloy.

The maximum carrying current is 25A and the maximum power voltage 6250V and a maximum switching voltage of 250V AC It operates within a temperature range of -40 to +60C.

It weighs 25g and it contains no lead or cadmium, and so has been RoHS compliant since production.
