A new series of 1W LEDs offers super high flux output and high luminance, reaching over 48lm at an operating current of 350mA.

A new series of 1W LEDs, available from Young Electronics, offers super high flux output and high luminance, reaching over 48lm at an operating current of 350mA It is available in white, blue, green cyan, red and amber versions

The white 1W LED has a correlated colour temperature (CCT) that ranges from 3300 to 6500K and comes with a colour rendering index (CRI) of 76.

Available with in a 120-degree viewing angle (Lambertian radiation pattern) and a 70-degree version with reflow solderable lens, it has a forward voltage of 3.4V.

Designed for high current operation and high flux output applications, the new LED package's design features better thermal management characteristics than other LED solutions.

Because of these advantages, this product has growing applications.

It offers a superior lumen maintenance with an expected life of 70kh.

With SMT solderability the new 1W LED series is ideal for any kind of general illumination such as outdoor and indoor architectural lighting, decorative lighting, torch lighting, traffic signalling, portable lighting, reading lighting, automobile lamps, and large size LCD backlighting.
