New additions to the SWS series of single output AC/DC power supplies offer higher power output and an increased voltage output range.

New additions to the SWS series of single output AC/DC power supplies offer higher power output and an increased voltage output range.

Young is introducing three new SWS300 models: the SWS300-5, SWS300-24 and SWS300-48, with the final figures referring to the output voltage.

Maximum output power on the SWS300-5 is 275W, rising to 321.6W on the SWS300-48.

Lambda is also introducing three SWS600 models designed for higher current and power output applications.

The SWS600-5 has an output power of 500W, with 600W peak, and the SWS600-24 and -48 are both capable of 600W continuously.

Each model accepts a continuous input from 85 to 265V which means they are compatible with global standards.

It incorporates soft-start circuitry, an integral Class B EMI filter and overvoltage and overcurrent protection.

The series is CE marked and carries UL, CSA, EN60950 and EN50178 safety approvals.

Operating temperature range is -10 to +65C, with a temperature coefficient of less than 0.02%/C.

The dimensions of the SWS300 series are 52 x 102 x 198mm and 92 x 120 x 190mm for the SWS600 series.
