Low impedance capacitors take the heat
Specialist distributor, Young Electronics, has launched a new series of surface mount capacitors that boast low impedance and high heat capability.
It requires 140mm2 of mounting space and its weight is 5g.
Key operating features include a dielectric strength of 4000V AC and a surge strength of 6000V.
The insulation distance is a minimum of 8mm.
With a rating power of 170mW at 20C and operating power of 75mW, operating temperature range is -40 to +85C, and the FTR-LY series offers greater sensitivity of operation for its size and dielectric strength than other similar power relay series.
Available in both 1 form A and 1 form C contact arrangement, the FTR-LY relays are available with nominal voltages of 5 to 48V DC.
Made with gold plated silver or standard silver alloy contacts, these have a rating of 6A/250V AC and a maximum switching current of 6A.
Maximum switching voltage is 250V AC and the maximum switching load is 10mA/5V DC.
The relays conform to global safety standards including UL, CSA, Semko and VDE.
Meeting environmental obligations, the relays contain no lead and contacts are cadmium free.
