A Young Electronics Group product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Oct 29, 2007

Leading UK Electronic component and power supply distributor Young electronics group is pleased to has released two new products from Mornsun through their UK Power Supply division YEG Powerline.

Young Electronics Group has released K7805-500, Mornsun's extension of a high-efficiency switching regulator.

It is a nonisolated, regulated, single output DC/DC convertor with an ultra wide input voltage range of 6.5-32V and output voltage of 5V.

The rated output current is 0.5A and the efficiency is up to 93%.

Very little energy is wasted as heat, so there is no need for any heat sinks.

This convertor has a high power density, a compact size of 11.5 x 7.6 x 10.2mm, a SIP3 package (pin to pin compatible with LM7805 linear regulators), short circuit protection, thermal shutdown and low ripple and noise.

It is suited to replace LM7805 in applications such as industrial control, electric power and testing instruments.

The LH05-LH20 is a high-efficiency AC-DC "green power" module with wide input voltage, DC and AC all in one, high efficiency, high reliability, low power dissipation and safety isolation.

The product is suitable for applications such as industrial, office and civil equipment.

EMC and safety standards meet international standards of IEC61000 and EC60950.

The LH05 - 20 series also features a universal input: 85 to 264V AC, 50/60Hz, low ripple and noise.

All products in the series have overload protection and short circuit protection and offer high efficiency and high power density.

At no load the LH05 - 20 series consumes extremely low power making them energy efficient.

Various models are available, all of which meet industrial level specifications and requirements.

Each unit comes with a three-year warranty.
