Low impedance capacitors take the heat
Specialist distributor, Young Electronics, has launched a new series of surface mount capacitors that boast low impedance and high heat capability.
Infra-red remote control receivers
Small, high-performance receivers for infra-red remote control systems, NJL65V/68H000 series parts feature a metal case with mesh window, which dramatically improve EMI characteristics.
Young Electronics will extend this series soon to offer more output voltage selections between 3.3 and 60V.
The 1000W units all feature a universal AC input from 85 to 265V, and have 4kV AC input to output isolation, low leakage current (less then 300uA) and still have curve B built in EMI filtering as standard.
Flexible outputs cover nonstandard system voltages: the standard voltages can be adjusted up to +/-20% using a trimmer or by 20-120% using external programming.
All units have built in active current share for parallel operation, with a wide operating temperature range from -20 to +74C and low-temperature startup (-40C at 100% load).
The 1000W unit has built-in low-noise temperature-controlled fan making it acceptable for medical, audio and laboratory equipment applications.
And the case design means units can be stacked without need for ventilation gaps between them.
Other features include a 12V 0.1A auxiliary output, DC output good signal, overvoltage and overcurrent protection and fan fail alarm as standard.
The series is CE marked and carries UL, CSA, EN60950-1, EN60601-1, UL60601-1 and EN50178 safety approvals and complies with MIL-STD-810F for vibration and shock.
All models conform to EN55011-B, EN55022-B and FCC-B for conducted and radiated EMI as well as EN61000-4 and EN61000-3-2 Class A, and come with a three-year warranty.
