Zenasis Technologies has named EDA industry veteran Dennis Harmon as its President and Chief Executive Officer.

Zenasis Technologies has named EDA industry veteran Dennis Harmon as its President and Chief Executive Officer Harmon will oversee all daily operations to drive the company's aggressive growth strategy

Former CEO and cofounder Jay Roy remains on as Chairman and Chief Technology Officer, overseeing the technology roadmap and product strategy for the company.

Harmon joins Zenasis with more than 20 years of management experience in the electronic design automation industry.

Most recently he was cofounder and CEO of Synchronicity (recently acquired by MatrixOne), the leading provider of design management and collaboration solutions for the global semiconductor industry.

Prior to Synchronicity, Harmon held various corporate management positions at Viewlogic Systems (acquired by Synopsys), including heading up the company's worldwide strategic accounts and corporate applications organisations.
