Zestron will introduce a defluxing cleaning agent, Vigon N 501, at this year's Productronica trade show (Hall A 2, booth 461).

Vigon N 501 is a pH-neutral defluxing cleaning agent that is compatibile with sensitive materials involved in SMT production, such as aluminium, copper, brass, nickel, plastics or labels.

The water-based MPC-cleaner was specifically developed for spray-in-air processes.

Being used at short contact times and with concentrations as low as 10-15 per cent, according to the company, Vigon N 501 shows very good cleaning results, even under low standoff components.

The pH-neutral formulation has been designed to be environmentally friendly, which facilitates achieving the permission to dispose of the rinse water via public sewage systems.
