Zensys' recognition as a 2006 Design and Engineering Award honouree is its third recognition in the past three months.
In October, Z-Wave, which enables consumers to monitor and manage their lighting, security systems and other home products easily, conveniently and securely, from anywhere in the world, was named a Best Enabling Technology of the Year by the Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA) and a 2005 Product of the Year award by Electronic House magazine.
"The honours and awards Zensys has received in the past three months validate Z-Wave's position as the industry's home control technology of choice", said Per Nathanaelson, Zensys' President and CEO.
"As we continue to reduce the size and cost of the Z-Wave chip, and increase the number of Z-Wave enabled products on the market, we and our partners will continue to execute on the promise of the connected home and enable consumers in all types of environments to experience the convenience and security of home control".
